Vietnam's Ministry of industry and trade recently released a draft of the national power development plan for the period 2021-2030 and for 2045, according to Vietnam's investment daily on February 24. According to the plan, the investment demand of Vietnam's power development in 2021-2030 is 128.3 billion US dollars. Among them, the investment in power generation is 95.4 billion US dollars, and the investment in power grid development is about 32.9 billion US dollars. The investment in power grid transmission and distribution in the United States, the United Kingdom, Japan and other countries is about 1.2 times that of power supply, and the investment in distribution network is more than 1 times that of transmission network (calculated by 0.5 times according to Vietnam's development level). Hengfengyou electric believes that Vietnam's distribution equipment market will be at least $16 billion in the next decade.
