Qingdao Hengfengyou has successfully completed the production of KYN61 series medium voltage switchgear for Pakistan hydropower station project. This batch of switchgear adopts new structure for the first time and has the obvious advantages of reasonable structure, small partial discharge, low loss and low noise.

The first batch of 27 products will be shipped to Pakistan by sea in December 2020.

The hydropower station is operated by Pakistani company K-Electric (KE), which was founded in 1913.

It is the largest integrated power company in Pakistan with a history of over a century.

It provides electricity to about 25 million people in Karachi and surrounding areas.

The hydropower station project is contracted by Harbin Electric International Engineering Co. Ltd.
