On August 16, 2019, Hengfengyou Electric Co., Ltd. and Shandong Shouguang Juneng Electric Co., Ltd. won the bidding for the transformation and distribution project of Qingdao Jiaodong International Airport Mountain Aviation Base (Phase I), with the contract amount of 13.618 million. The project covers a total area of 10 hectares, of which Phase I covers a land area of about 40,000 square meters and a building area of more than 20,000 square meters.

The main building is mainly for air cargo station, cargo turnover warehouse and cargo handling yard operation area.
