Recently, the Ministry of energy of Uzbekistan announced the launch of scaling solar 3 project. The project consists of three subprojects, with a total capacity of 500MW. It is open to private enterprises for bidding according to dfbom mode. Among them, the 250MW (AC) project in Bukhara is photovoltaic + energy storage mode, with a battery capacity of 50MW. The other two 150MW (AC) and 100MW (AC) projects are located in Namangan and hualazimou respectively, which are pure photovoltaic projects. The project is in line with the development of Uzbekistan's power supply and implementation of large-scale renewable energy strategy in 2020-2030, indicating that Uzbekistan is on the road of sustainable, clean and diversified energy production.
