On January 20, 2021, 150 substations of Kuwait t1158 infrastructure project undertaken by No.8 Hydropower Bureau were officially handed over to the Ministry of housing and welfare and the Ministry of water and electricity of Kuwait. A total of 150 level-2 substations are required for t1158 project, including 89 2tr type substations and 61 4tr type substations. In addition to the foundation cushion, the prefabricated construction method is adopted for the concrete structure of these substations from the foundation to the wall and then to the roof. All prefabricated parts are transported to the site for installation after strict steam curing. The quality is highly recognized by the Kuwait housing and Welfare Department, the owner of the project. The smooth handover of the substation will provide a strong guarantee for the subsequent residential power supply in this area.

Hengfengyou electric provides 150 sets of oil immersed transformers for the project. Considering that Kuwait is located in the desert high temperature zone, the transformer is designed according to the design standard of 45 ℃ room temperature.
