(4) The box type transformer generally adopts dry type transformer. Outdoor electricity is generally oil immersed transformer.
 
 
(5) During the construction, dry transformer and oil transformer shall be selected according to the space, oil transformer can be selected when the space is large, and dry transformer can be selected when the space is crowded.
 
 
(6) The regional climate is humid and hot, which is easy to change with oil. If drying is used, forced air cooling equipment must be provided.

The oil immersed transformer can achieve all capacities and voltage levels from small to large.; The UHV1000KV test line under construction must be oil immersed transformer.
 
 
4. Insulation and heat dissipation are different.

 
Resin insulation is generally adopted for dry-type transformer, which is cooled by natural air and large capacity transformer fan. Oil type transformer is insulated by insulating oil, which circulates inside the transformer to radiate the heat generated by the coil to the radiator (sheet) of the transformer.
 
 
5. Applicable places

 
Dry type transformers are often used in places where fire and explosion protection is required, and are generally easy to be used in large buildings and high-rise buildings; Oil immersed transformers are mostly used outdoors.
 
 
6. Different load carrying capacity.
 
 
Generally, dry-type transformers shall operate at rated capacity, while oil immersed transformers have better overload capacity.
 
 
7. The fees are different.
